takeCHARGE RECOGNIZED WITH SIXTH AND SEVENTH ENERGY STAR® AWARDS

Each year, ENERGY STAR® Canada recognizes businesses and organizations for their outstanding contributions to saving energy. The awards recognize utilities, manufacturers, retailers, associations, homebuilders, and buildings that have demonstrated excellence in offering Canadian consumers the most energy-efficient products and technology available. Award winners earn the special recognition of being the best in their class.

Natural Resources Canada selected takeCHARGE, a joint partnership between Newfoundland Power and Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro), for the fourth consecutive year as the Utility Program of the Year award winner. takeCHARGE has also been chosen as the winner of Promotional Campaign of the Year for a third time. That’s seven ENERGY STAR Awards in the past four years for takeCHARGE.
