EV Driver: One year
Pre-owned or New: Pre-Owned
For the longest time, Edmundo and his family shared one vehicle between them, but recently decided they needed another. Seeing more and more people switching to electric, he was curious what owning an EV would be like.
Now, with a pre-owned, all-electric Nissan LEAF, Edmundo says he can’t wait to trade in his gas-powered vehicle for another EV!
“I use it every day,” he explains. “To commute, run errands, get to activities and visit friends. I only spend an extra $7 – $10 on electricity a month. Overall I am saving about $1,500 a year.”

EV Driver: Over one year
Pre-owned or New: New
This EV enthusiast was way ahead of the curve. Erik made the switch and pre-ordered his new all-electric Tesla Model 3 before the model was even available in Canada! He says there’s so many things he loves about it – the really cool technology, taking road trips, driving performance – so it’s hard to pick just one, and highly recommends everyone make the switch.
“Get one! I love it,” he says. “Test drive an EV once and you’ll understand! Plus, there’s a growing number of local owners in the province and they’ve started a really great and helpful community of EV drivers.”
