School Contest Grades 7-12
To enter the School Contest for grades 7-12, students are required to creatively communicate messages about saving energy to their peers. Students must explain why saving energy is important, demonstrate what they can do to conserve and highlight some safety tips when using energy – all in a way that will inspire other students to take action. Entries can be from an individual or a group of up to four students. Entries should be creative, informative and fun, and can be in the form of a video, book, song, game, poster or other creative medium.
Looking for some creative inspiration to get your entry started? Try hunting down the energy savers in your home or school. As you move around, different and more types of energy savers could appear depending on where you are. Wander your home or school with your classmates on a quest to find the energy savers and catch the energy hogs. And don’t forget to highlight some safety tips when using electricity, along the way.
Deadline to Enter: February 28, 2025 by 4:00 PM
See official contest rules and regulations and consent form.
