In recognition of BDC Small Business Week, the City of St. John’s, in partnership with Metro Business Opportunities, is hosting Office Hours, a drop-in event to support those who are thinking about starting or growing a business in St. John’s. Metro Business Opportunities will be on hand to provide information on their financing programs, supports and services, including the Newcomer Loan Program and the takeCHARGE team will also be on-site to provide information on rebate programs business and ways to help improve energy efficiency!

The takeCHARGE of Your Town challenge is back for its 14th year! It invites municipalities to submit proposals that will support their efforts to develop or improve energy conservation or energy efficiency projects. Projects have to demonstrate a positive effort to conserve energy that benefits the entire community.
