Canada Greener Homes Initiatives
Offered through the Federal Government of Canada, The Canada Greener Homes Initiatives offer financial assistance to help home owners save money and make their homes more energy-efficient.
Home Energy Savings Program (HESP)
Offered through Newfoundland and Labrador Housing, HESP is a provincial initiative designed to assist households with low income who consume 15,000 kWh of electricity annually in making energy efficient retrofits to their homes. The program assists clients with retrofits that will make their homes more affordable and reduce greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change.
CMHC Green Home
A 10% CMHC mortgage loan insurance premium refund, and a premium refund for a longer amortization period (if applicable) may be available when you use CMHC insured financing to purchase an energy-efficient home or make energy-saving renovations.
Shift
