Newfoundland and Labrador EnerGuide for Houses Program
This program provides $300 towards the cost of a home energy evaluation and a grant of up to a maximum of $1,500 for specified energy efficiency improvements.
Residential Energy Efficiency Program (REEP)
Offered through Newfoundland and Labrador Housing, REEP is designed to assist low-income households in making energy efficient retrofits to their homes. Owners of single, row and semi-detached housing may be eligible for a grant up to $3,000 per unit on the island and $4,000 per unit in Labrador. In addition, funding is provided for the completion of a pre and post-energy inspection of the home.
Natural Resources Canada ecoENERGY Retrofit Incentive for Buildings
Owners of small and medium-sized buildings in the commercial and institutional sectors can receive up to $10 per gigajoule of estimated energy savings, 25% of eligible project costs or $50,000 per project.
